UNIPOWER RECEIVES ISO 9001:2000

CERTIFICATE

Coral Springs, Florida- UNIPOWER Corporation proudly announces that it has received its Certificate of Registration from BSI Management Systems, confirming that it operates a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000. UNIPOWER operates under a high level "Quality Culture", and this registration to the new ISO 9001:2000 Standard is confirmation of the company's commitment to providing high quality, state-of-the-art products and services to electronic OEMs and telecommunication customers.

In recent months UNIPOWER has invested heavily in its "Process Quality System", including on-line reporting of quality at each production step, resulting in improved first pass yields, higher "plug and play" levels reported by customers and overall increase in customer satisfaction. UNIPOWER's U.K. plant has separately received ISO 9001:2000 Registration from BSI, completing the company's effort to upgrade both plants to the new ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
