HOT SWAP SINE WAVE INVERTER SYSTEM

PRODUCES 12.5KVA AT 115VAC

Coral Springs, Florida- UNIPOWER Telecom's new Gravitas IX12.5-115 is a compact, fully integrated sine wave inverter system designed to power a variety of AC systems in a Telecom environment. The inverter system consists of up to five hot-swap, 2.5kVA inverter modules in a 5U (8.5 inches) high, 23-inch shelf, including an AC distribution section with up to six AC load breakers.

Each inverter module produces 2,500 volt-amperes; the shelf, fully loaded with five inverter modules, produces 12.5kVA at 115VAC, 60Hz. The system can also be operated as a hot-swap, 4+1 redundant system with an output of 10kVA.

The inverter modules operate from a nominal 48VDC input with a wide range of 42 to 56VDC, and each module produces 115VAC at 22 amperes RMS at full load. The output is a low-distortion, 60Hz sine wave. Each module is protected by its own input and output circuit breakers, is self-cooled by two fans, and has input, output and sync OK LEDs.

Gravitas IX12.5-115 Inverter System

The shelf has six AC load circuit breakers on the front panel. AC load and DC connections are easily made at the rear of the system. The AC output is fully isolated from the battery input. There is also a signal connector with a failure alarm output and a sync output signal for paralleling with other Gravitas inverter systems. Surge capability is up to 300%, enabling the system to start motor loads and also power other reactive loads.

The inverter modules and shelf must be ordered separately. The hot-swap inverter modules are priced as low as $2,015 each; and the 23-inch shelf is priced at $1,140, including six breakers, both in large quantities. Delivery time is 4 weeks ARO.
