COMPACT INTEGRATED POWER SYSTEM PRODUCES

150 AMPERES AND IS ONLY 5RU HIGH

Coral Springs, Florida- UNIPOWER Telecom's new Gravitas X150 is a compact, fully integrated DC power system designed to power a variety of telecom systems. The power system consists of three high power-density, hot swap rectifier modules, a monitor and control section, and a DC power distribution section. The complete 19-inch rack system is only 5RU (8.65 inches) high and 15.9 inches deep. The system can also mount on a 23-inch rack by using mounting brackets provided.

The rectifier modules produce a total of up to 150 amperes DC at -48V or +24V. The system can be operated in a redundant mode (2+1) with a total output of 100 amperes. The versatile DC distribution section may be configured with up to 10 load circuits protected by circuit breakers, GMT fuses or a combination of the two. There are up to three optional input breakers, one for each rectifier; there are also up to three battery string breakers provided.

The controller section controls and monitors the rectifier outputs and monitors the output load circuits. It has LED visual alarms and Form C relay alarms for rectifier failure, AC input failure, fuse or breaker action, low voltage battery disconnect, overvoltage and undervoltage.

Gravitas X150 Compact Power System

There are front-panel adjustments for float voltage, battery overvoltage, battery undervoltage and temperature compensation. Test points and optional digital voltmeter and ammeter permit monitoring of the load voltage and current. The controller comes as a standard analog model or as an optional digital model with keypad and alphanumeric display.

Additional options for the Gravitas X150 are the low voltage battery disconnect and rectifier temperature compensation. The latter comes with temperature probe. All connections are at the rear of the power system with power connections made to DIN-rail terminal blocks.

The Gravitas X150 base model price starts at $1,121 with rectifiers priced as low as $555 each. Systems can be configured at customer's request and delivered within 5 working days.
