1U, 1600W FRONT-END POWER SYSTEM IS

HOT-SWAP WITH FULL FRONT ACCESS

Coral Springs, Florida-UNIPOWER's new 1600-watt, hot-swap front-end power system features full frontal access to all input and output connections in a slim 1U high (1.72 inches) 19-inch rack. The front panel has two IEC60320 AC receptacles for fast line cord connection, Anderson- type DC output connectors and a 25-pin subminiature D connector for control signals. These connectors provide quick connection and disconnection of the power system. Separate AC line cord inputs for each power module allows for A/B inputs adding to overall system reliability. The system is only 11.56 inches deep, for use in ETSI cabinetry with maximum depth of 12 inches. The power system is designed for use in telecom systems, network equipment and other applications which use a 48 or 24VDC power bus.

The power rack holds two hot-swap, paralleled-connected power modules which produce 24VDC at 58.3A (1400W) or 48 VDC at 33.3A (1600W) in the non-redundant mode.  Operating in the 1+1 redundant mode, the system produces 24VDC at 29.2A (700W) or 48VDC at 16.7A (800W).
