Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and based out of the compay's offices in Lancing, England the role of Regional Sales Manager - Europe will be responsible for leading the company's aggressive sales growth via both direct sales and through a network of representatives and distributors within Europe with a primary focus initially on the UK, Ireland, Germany, Benelux and Scandinavia; but travel throughout Europe should also be expected as business opportunities dictate.
Skills/Experiences Required:
Proactively pursue UNIPOWER solutions into various strategic market opportunities. This will involve:
Regular customer visits requiring extensive travel, covering Europe with primary focus on customers in strategic market segments.
Assist with product selection based on the customer’s application needs.
Conducting technical seminars with key customers and at industry events.
Support and training for sales rep and distribution organizations.
Penetrate new Strategic targeted accounts.
Expand market share at existing accounts.
Annually submit and implement a detailed action plan identifying: sales.
objectives, opportunities, key existing and target customers.
Develop and maintain sales opportunities pipeline sufficient to capture annual top line growth target.
Quarterly territory forecasting.
Highly effective sales closing skills with key decision makers.
Utilize Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce.com) as the primary tool to manage day-to-day sales activities.
Generation of new product ideas to be fed back to Marketing based on qualified customer opportunities.
Interface effectively with all levels within the organization, and excel in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
BSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering would be an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in either analog/power supply sales or analog based applications engineering.
Strong customer interface skills including active listening, problem solving and strong verbal/written communications skills.
